I read this book when it first came out and loved it so much that I couldn't put it down. The book was a loan from a friend, so I didn't own it. The story haunted me for years, but I couldn't remember the name of the author or the title of the book. I have been trying to find it ever since with no success. Then the other day the book just landed in my lap while I was trying to find it. I'm the happiest lady on the face of the earth right now because I own the book, found an author I really love and can read the book over and over again the way I'm known to do. This is why I have a Kindle, I re-read books constantly. If there's a book that really haunts me like this one has It won't take me 30 years or more to find it. Don't miss out on this book, it's one of 4 or 5 books whose story lives in my being to the point where I dream about it and it niggles at me all day until I just have to read it again.

I have been reading Eugenia's books for years and this is another good read. It is a heartwarming novel about two lovers destined to be together. I did not expect the older lady to be who she was...that was a good twist to the story. Really enjoyable read.
Beautiful love story. Enjoyed reading all the time travel adventures and the main characters love, heartache, and feelings and emotions.
Eugenia Riley has outdone herself with this book. I have read many of her books and this one by far was great. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys time travel reading. The characters are well developed and the plot is enough to keep you on your toes till the very end. I am now reading Tempest in Time and I am as completely enthralled with this book as I was the A Tryst in Time.
I read this years ago when it was first released. It was actually the book that kind of hooked me on time-travel romances. I bought it more for nostalgic reasons, and it was just as good as I remember--although this time it was predictable because I've read it before.
If you have ever read any of Eugenia Riley's novels you would not have to ask if it was good, if you have not all I can say is you do not know what you are missing. Try it and go buy more of his books, I know you will wish you had several more of the books.
This is a magnificent southern gothic novel that weaved its storyline into the reader's heart. The twist and turns are exceptionally well done but the author Eugenia Riley who can tell a tale.
This was the most exciting "time travel" story I have ever read! Sarah just knew that she had to find her Damian! After successfully painting the awesome picture of the haunted house so magnificently, when she realized that a picture of Damien was imposed in the picture of the house she immediately KNEW even his name! Then she absolutely knew in her heart that she needed to explore the house, even though she was warned that it truly was scary and haunted! After a few times of going through the house, she could actually envision how it was decorated. She slipped into a sort of a trance and ends up actually entering a period of time one hundred years earlier than the present time period!
It gets better very quickly as she, was assumed to be the artist that was expected to repair Damians deceased brother Vinnys paintings that had been damaged in the war.
Sarah was a very talented artist who had studied repairing paintings, so she stayed on and impressed Damian that she was very skilled!
They fall hopelessly in love and his Aunt was very upset. This story really was great!!!!
